DUTIES: You will: (1) Be dedicated to supporting the financial
reporting and planning team as part of Enterprise reporting and
planning; (2) Design, develop, and support best-in-class business
processes for financial planning, reporting and analysis; Act as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the use of SAP BW, SEM and other
reporting and planning systems as well as the business process
knowledge required to implement and maintain various financial
planning and reporting applications; (3) Participate in functional
and technical studies to evaluate business systems requirements and
recommend appropriate solutions and interfacing with technical
resources to explain business solutions important to the end user
community; (4) Prepare communications and make presentations to the
stakeholder community on system enhancements and/or alternatives as
well as working with training teams in developing the best learning
environment for the end user; (5) Analyze user requirements and works
with technical resources to determine system configuration and
customization and test the changes made to the configuration prior to
implementation of these changes to production; (6) Assist in business
process and system blueprint, testing, training and implementation;
(7) Initiate corrective action to stay on schedule and develop
business process definition, documentation, and end user training and
support; (8) Provide business process guidance and direction and
support change management initiatives and works as liaison with
stakeholder community; (9) Deliver system demos and presentations to
senior management, financial analysts, and business analysts; (10)
Assist in the design, development, implementation and support of
functional specifications related to all aspects of the project scope
within the established timeframes and budgets; (11) Partner with
financial planners and analysts to ensure effective teamwork in
planning and reporting; (12) Lead functional unit, integration, user
acceptance and regression testing for future deployments; (13)
Provide second level support to end users on questions they may have
regarding system functionality or processes.
4 years of solid business knowledge, systems analysis and project
experience with 2 years financial planning and reporting business
process knowledge and experience, preferably for a CPG organization.
Significant experience with developing reports in SAP BW or Hyperion.
Able to understand business requirements and write IT requirements
definitions and functional specifications.
Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Powerpoint,
and Word; Visio and Access.
Personality traits:
Ability to work in diverse, fast paced, matrix type environment,
across teams and for multiple supervisors.
Self-starter, able to work with other teams, autonomously, and
serving to deliver results at the tactical and strategic level.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
